Being able to survive in the elements should be on your mind- especially due to the rise in homelessness. The recent power outages that effected millions across the country due to the snow storms is a reminder to humanity that we all need the basics in order to survive- water, food, shelter- warmth. I have put together a minimal survival kit that you can keep on you at all times or at least maybe in the trunk of your car. 

The year 2020 was filled with unexpected occurrences to say the least. Now it is time to prepare for 2021; especially for new parents . Many pandemic a.k.a. 'quarantine' babies were born within this last year, 2020. This new wave of babies being born is now referred to as the 'Quarantine Baby Boom'. I just so happened to be pregnant when the pandemic hit; I gave birth to my first child with a mask on and only one visitor allowed in the delivery room. Imagine being pregnant for 9 months with no public restroom open to use! One thing I learned while being pregnant amidst this timing is that life is worth living- even through the obstacles. These miracle babies are very special because they are teaching the world what it means to be a survivor! But, most of all reminding everyone what a blessing it is to be alive!
